Ageless (and Practical) Proverbs: Part 2
In the hustle and bustle of life, sometimes we wish we had a clearer guide on how to live life, so we’ll be sharing with you a few ageless (and practical) proverbs for daily life!
- Receiving feedback well
Throughout life, we’ll all realise that we were wrong at some point and we humbly learn from the mistake. Being able to admit that we were not entirely right could prevent us form landing in such a situation as in Proverbs 16:18.
- Procrastination
Everyone loves it, every does it. But Admiral William McRaven once said, “If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed… If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another…If you can’t do the little things right, you’ll never be able to do the big things right. And if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made, that you made. And a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better.”
