God, What About My Desires? | Short Sermon Series

I wonder if we frequently find ourselves wrestling with God. What do you do when your desires aren’t fulfilled? When the things you feel like you so desperately want and need are not given to you?

In moments like those, our hearts can feel so restless and troubled. And perhaps that is how you may be feeling today.

Dear child of God, let this be your encouragement today - the Lord sees the struggles of your heart. He sees and understands your desires. He draws all the more nearer to you. 

But He also wants you to know that He is enough to meet your needs. He wants you to know that you lack nothing. His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in your weakness.

As you rely on Him each day to meet the needs you feel are unmet, and to fulfil the desires of your heart, may He teach your heart to yearn and be satisfied in Him alone.
