How do we know if the Holy Spirit is working within us?
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
We’ll know it through the fruit that the Spirit will bear in our lives.
In the moments when we find ourselves a little more patient and a little more kind, or when we find that our natural inclination is not to feel sorry for ourselves, but to extend grace and to love - that’s when we’ll know our hearts have changed for the better.
Look at your life and see what fruits you need the Spirit’s help to grow - then commit these fruits to God. Asking God to grow you to bear more fruit is something He will delight in helping you do!
