Safe in His Arms: Finding Peace in the Storm | Short Sermon Series

When the waters start to rise and the fire starts to get too close for comfort, God beckons us to Himself.

There’s no need to panic. No need to run or hide.

“Be still, and know that I am God,” He says.

“I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

The One who authored Creation is still in control and He is still on the throne. He is working in our waiting, with us in the pain, and promises to never leave us nor forsake us.

These are His promises to us.

And so we hang on tightly to His hand, as He holds on even more tightly to us.

When the waters start to rise and the fire starts to get too close for comfort, be still, for we are already safe in His loving arms.
