Jalan-jalan with Jesus (walk with Jesus) and He will lead you with Elly and Friends
For many of us, "walking with Jesus" has been something we are always told to learn to do. But what does it actually mean?

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”  Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

Think of your relationship with your closest friend. You two would make time to meet, share life, tell each other about exciting and happy things, or sad and difficult situations. You encourage each other,  turn to them for comfort and advice, and seek their opinion on decisions to make.

Walking with God is something like that. When we commit our lives to Jesus, we have gained a new friendship with God. Like any other friendship, our relationship with God needs to be nurtured. We can count on Him to be there for us all the time like the best friend there is, share with him our joys and sorrows. We can listen to Him, through reading his Word, or through those around us. And we can be certain that regardless of our circumstances, God wants to have this relationship and walk with us. We just have to take the first step.

Wishing you a very blessed 2019! May we learn to walk with God daily.
