We often have our own plans and dreams that we want to rush forward to accomplish - yet time and time again we read in Scripture that if God is not in the midst of our plans, it often never goes too well.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.”
Psalms 127:1
God is the builder of everything, and He is the one who makes all things work together. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. Apart from Him, our labour is in vain.
What are some plans you need to commit to the Lord today? Invite Him to walk with you and prepare the way ahead of you. May we not lean on our own understanding, but trust in God’s timing and ways - for we labour for the Lord and not for our own glory.
