Abigail creates delightful art for children using gouache, pencils, and occasionally digital tools when deadlines get tight. Her journey to becoming an artist has been anything but conventional. Growing up, she was a competitive swimmer and later pursued athletics throughout university, aspiring to make a career as a track star. However, frequent injuries forced her to rethink her path.

With a degree in computer science, Abigail was sure of one thing—tech wasn’t for her. She unexpectedly found herself in the role of a teacher, where she discovered her passion for working with kids. From her daily interactions with children, she realized just how cool they are and how much joy and creativity they bring to art.

In 2020, during the pandemic, Abigail taught herself to illustrate for children, and her talent quickly shone through. After completing her first picture book project, she took the leap and became a full-time illustrator. Her whimsical and playful style captures the imagination of children and adults alike.

When she’s not illustrating, Abigail enjoys diving into romcom series, reading contemporary fiction, and geeking out over art history. Her unique journey and creative spark shine through in every piece of art she creates.
