Be Still My Heart | Short Sermon Series
You never really know how big or small storms are going to be, and sometimes even catch us by surprise when we don’t see them coming. While it’s shocking in the moment, it’s the aftermath of the storm that is significant or even life changing.
Philippians 4 reminds us to keep praying and because we belong to Christ, we will be blessed with a peace that surpasses all understanding. While we aren’t promised a perfect life, we belong to a God who knows what we’re going through and tells us to take heart for He has overcome the world, in all its beauty and chaos.
No matter what storm or aftermath you’re facing, continue to place your faith and trust in the God who sees, and not what you see. He sees everything and He will never leave or forsake you. May you be blessed with a peace beyond your understanding and your heart be stilled, that you may know He is God and He is with you.
