Dear Child of God, why do you worry and fret over the days of your life?
Have you not seen the way He clothes the flowers in the field? The way He has chosen the colours of their petals, and crafted each one by hand.
“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!” Luke 12:27-28
If God cares so deeply about the flowers that die and disappear in a matter of days - think about how much more He cares for you!
Each day of your life is precious to Him, every breath you take is sustained by Him. He wills your heart to keep beating, and gives you grace and strength to get through the valleys where you feel close to death.
You are sustained, treasured and loved. And if you ever forget it - look at the wildflowers in the field. They will be evidence enough of the goodness and love of your God.
