God’s Recipe To His Masterpiece | Short Sermon Series

A Blessed Father’s Day to all fathers! God has given our fathers the heavy responsibility of being the head of the household – to lead and provide for their family, and to discipline and nurture their children. It is not an easy task, yet our fathers take it on dutifully and determinedly.

Not all fathers are the most affectionate or expressive, but sometimes actions speak louder than words. We see their quiet but deep love for us in the extra helping of food they place on our plate, the words of caution and care they speak, and their faithful commitment to their work, no matter how tiring it may get.

This Father’s Day, we honour our fathers for the hard work and heart work they put into caring for their families. May God continue to bless our fathers with an extra portion of strength and wisdom as He moulds them into His masterpieces.

At the same time, we remember those who might be hurting today - having lost their fathers, or having had fathers who abandoned or hurt them in this life. May you take comfort in the knowledge that your Heavenly Father sees you and cares for you. He loves you more than any earthly father could - more than you could ever imagine!
