Holding onto Hope | Short Sermon Series
In times of suffering, it's natural to feel overwhelmed and lose hope. It can seem like it’s just us against the world and that there's no purpose to our pain. Some of us may even feel abandoned by God and contemplate giving up entirely.
However, in such times the psalmist reminds us that our comfort lies in God's word.
Despite the challenges we face, God assures us of His presence and eventual victory. Just as Jesus endured suffering and emerged triumphant, we too can find hope in God's promises.
Though the world may seem to be winning, we can trust that God is in control and will fulfill His promises to us.
So, amid suffering, hold onto God's promises. Trust that He is with you and find comfort in knowing that He will never abandon you. Even if physical death comes, eternal life awaits those who trust in Jesus. Keep your hope alive, for victory is assured with God.
