Walking in Crazy Faith | Short Sermon Series
Sometimes, we have dreams or situations that seem impossible to man and would require ‘crazy faith’ to be led by God. God has called us to live in faith, but many of us are living in fear - fear of the unknown, fear of the what ifs, etc. Crazy faith is knowing that everything is not going to make sense, but will make a miracle!
So how do we walk in ‘crazy faith’?
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Even if you don’t have faith for yourself, hear faith. Listen to faith, surround yourself with people who speak faith and start playing sermons. That’s how faith grows, by hearing and hearing (double emphasis!) the word of God. Many people don’t have faith because they aren’t surrounded by anything that gives them faith.
Secondly, when God tells you something, write it down and speak it out, no matter how impossible it sounds! Life and death are in the power of the tongue and there is power when you speak it out. Many people have visions but they never take the faith step to write it down and commit it to God. It costs no money to write it down and tell someone you trust, “I really believe God is calling me to do this”.
Finally, it’s time stop striving and using ALL our energy to make something happen. God can do more with less when we listen to him. God fed a multitude of people with 5 small loaves and 2 measly fish. God used a shepherd boy (David) to kill a giant (Goliath) with just a small pebble. Wherever God is at, thats where we’ll be, and the miracles are sure to follow after!
