You Are The Strength of My Heart | Short Sermon Series
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26
On the days where you wake up with anxiety in your heart, and it seems like nothing is going according to plan, look up towards the heavens and know that you are not alone. Your God fights for you in the moments of grief and self doubt.
When you feel like there’s no way for you to carry on, and your heart is overwhelmed by the burdens of the world – take heart! He has overcome the world.
Our physical bodies can only bear so much, and our human hearts are easily bruised and hurt. But would you know this day that you don’t have to shoulder the weariness of the world alone. Your good, good Father is in the midst of every disappointment and every hurt. He wipes your tears away and says, “Child, let me carry you through this.”
We can’t do it on out own, but we can do it with God. Our flesh and heart may fail, but God remains sovereign, He remains our strength, and He will lead us through every storm and every heartbreak.
