Children of God | Short Sermon Series
The one who created the universe and holds the stars in His hands also created you!
However, there are times when it’s easier to believe that about other people, but not so much about ourselves.
We see the beauty in another and wish we were created like them. “If only I was smarter… If only I was more good-looking… If only I was more outspoken…”
“Yes, everyone is fearfully and wonderfully made… but more than I am” is the subconscious thought that many of us may hold.
If that is you today, know that that is a lie from the enemy, designed to keep you from believing the worth and value that God has given to you:
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.“ John 1:12-13
God says that you are good enough. Not because of how smart, good-looking, or successful you are in the eyes of man, but because He created you, and you are His child.
There is nobody in the world with your unique experiences, quirks, and giftings. God made you to fulfill a purpose and bring to the world something only you could bring.
You are a child of the Creator of the universe! And if you would meditate on that fact, you would realise just how incredible that is.
You are deeply loved and deeply valued by God.
You are here because God wants you here.
