Every new day brings with it new challenges. Life is full of trouble, as Jesus Himself has pointed out. But Jesus has also told us to take heart, and to not be afraid, for He has overcome the world.
When life starts to feel overwhelming, remember who you belong to. Remember that the Lord is sovereign - He watches over you and holds your life in His hands.
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2
The God who created the mountains, who tells the sun to rise and set each day, is the same God who loves you dearly and wants to walk with you through this life.
So remember, when you ever need help, lift your eyes up and know that your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will take good care of you, so fear not the challenges of the day.
