Faithful Steps: Trusting God’s Heart for Us | Short Sermon Series

Its not easy to trust in God, especially when the road ahead is dark and you can’t see where you’re going. But each and every step of faith grows our relationship with God as we come to realise that He’s worthy of our trust.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

While it’s tempting to lean on our own understanding, thinking that we have all the answers and we know what’s best for our lives, we do need to realise that God is the one with the bigger picture in mind.

We won’t always understand why certain things have had to happen to us, but we can always, always trust God’s heart for us. His heart for us is good, and He is continually in the process of bringing us onto paths of righteousness.
