The truth is that your life is incredibly precious to the One who gave it to you. He knows you by name, and knows the number of strands of hair on your head.
The God who made you is deeply interested in who you are and what you do. He looks out for you every day. He cares about all that is on your heart.
“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?” Matthew 18:12-14
When you wander away and get lost - this God runs after you.
Every child is precious to Him, and when one is missing - He notices.
So no, you’re not just another face in the crowd. Your life is special and precious to the God who loves you deeply. He is your Good Shepherd - and this Good Shepherd looks out for every one of His sheep.
