To live life without God is to live in a form of life that lacks the peace and abundance that He desires for us.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
The Psalmist says it well - God is our light, our salvation, the strength of our life! Without Him, we aren’t living - it’s a life that is barren.
But knowing God and walking this life with Him - that’s a pass to overflowing peace and joy. There is no circumstance that can take this away from us. No height, nor depth, nor any powers in the world will separate us from the love of God.
If life has been feeling dreary, or you’ve been feeling like peace is hard to come by, let this be your invitation today to ask God to do life with you again.
Find time to sit with God, commune with Him and allow yourself to be loved by Him. In time, you’ll find yourself being loved back to life.
