Restoration of Lost Years | Short Sermon Series

Occasionally, we go through what might seem like ‘lost years’, seasons in life where nothing much seems to happen, and we see no breakthroughs in our lives. However, even in these seasons, as we continue walking closely with Him, God is in the process of restoring the broken parts of our lives and accomplishing His purposes. 

Even if it seems like nothing is changing, this time of waiting is never wasted, and our faith is being strengthened. Let us continue to trust that God shall restore all that seems lost during our ‘lost years’, for He makes all things beautiful in His time. Looking back after our restoration, we will know that this period of waiting was a blessed experience.

When that time comes, and God’s restoration washes over your spirit, He will renew your joy and the song that has been stifled in your life. His restoration will bring victory and show us that the opposing forces that threatened to overpower us were never going to prevail. Just as Jesus overcame the world, we too can delight in and be sure of His victory in our lives.

Trust in the Lord and his growing influence of restoration in your lives. His restoration will help you to overcome the darkest of valleys and the deepest oceans.
