SG Cares Giving Week: The Commandment Co x Homeless Hearts of Singapore

SG Cares Giving Week is an annual national movement happening from 1 to 7 December that celebrates the spirit of giving. During this period, individuals, businesses and communities come together to support the causes they care about in order to build a City of Good.

This year, as part of SG Cares Giving Week, The Commandment Co will be partnering with Homeless Hearts of Singapore, a team of volunteers who are dedicated to making Singapore a City of Refuge, where its community, infrastructure, and policies would provide adequate support for those who are displaced or isolated. This is done through helping the homeless re-integrate into community via community-building initiatives, providing temporary aid, advocacy, and local partnerships

If you would like to help, here’s how we can support Homeless Hearts of Singapore together:

From now till 31 December 2022, we will be donating 10% from every purchase of a TCCo Desk Calendar to Homeless Hearts of Singapore in our mission to blossom the lives of homeless. These donations go directly to Homeless Hearts of Singapore and every cent will be used to support the homeless through purchasing necessities, food, urgent hostel bookings and more for those in need. In total, we aim to sell 1,000 Calendars to raise $1390 for Homeless Hearts of Singapore.

“… The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom…abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing… They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God.” Isaiah 35:1-2

Just as Jesus will eventually restore His land such that all would see His glory, may we also be encouraged to use all He has provided us with to strengthen and bring hope to others - not just for this period of Giving Week, but every day of our lives.
