Starting the Year on God’s Mind | Short Sermon Series
Did you know that God thinks about you so often that His thoughts towards you outnumber the grains of sand?
As we step into this new year, it’s easy to get caught up in goals, resolutions, and busy schedules. But here’s a truth to anchor your heart:
“How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand…” – Psalm 139:17-18
God is deeply invested in your life—He’s all in. He has always been, and He always will be. He sent His Son to die for you, and He longs to walk with you into this new year and every season of life.
As we make plans and set new beginnings, let’s pause and ask ourselves:
- How often is God on my mind?
- Do I make time to sit and talk with Him?
The truth is, we often wander. We get distracted. We’re unfaithful in our relationship with Him.
Yet even in our inconsistency, God remains faithful.
He is waiting—always. He’s ready to sit with you, to talk with you, to walk with you into this year. You’re always on His mind, and there are always things He longs to share with you.
So as you begin this new year, will you make space for Him?
Is today the day you’ll sit at the table and have that long-awaited chat with Him?
There’s no better time to reconnect, refocus, and renew your walk with God than now. Start the year with Him—because He has already started this year thinking of you.
You’re on His mind. Now let Him be on yours.
May the adorable designs by @benih.kecil remind you that He desires to sit with you and speak to you today♥️☕️
