The Freedom of Being Loved by God | Short Sermon Series

”Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.“ Psalms 63:3-4 NIV

In Psalm 63, the psalmist, David, came to an important realisation – nothing else satisfies except God. The very love of God is better than life itself! Nothing comes close to the freedom that comes from being loved by our Heavenly Father.

Knowing that we are so dearly loved and so precious to Him leads us to the most obvious response – to praise! We praise with our lips, with our hands, with our bodies, all day, every day, as long as we live.

After all, the life we have is not our own, but it is a gift given to us by our Maker, who loves us more than we will ever know. Through the good times and the bad, may His praises be ever on our lips!
