Motherhood is beautiful, but it is also deeply demanding. It’s found in the quiet sacrifices no one sees. The early mornings, the late nights. The constant giving, serving, remembering, planning, holding everything together.

Mothers carry so much - often with strength that looks effortless from the outside,
but inside, there are moments of weariness. Moments where you wonder if you’re doing enough. Moments where you feel stretched thin. Moments where you keep going, even when your heart feels tired.

And yet, you still show up. You still love. You still give. But here’s a gentle reminder for every mother today:

The love you pour out was never meant to come from your own strength alone.
It flows from Him first.

In the busyness of motherhood, it’s easy to become like Martha - doing, serving, worrying about many things. Trying to keep everything together.

But in the midst of it all, Jesus gently reminds us:

“There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”
- Luke 10:42

Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet. To pause. To be with Him. And that is the one thing needful. Not more doing. Not more striving. But being with Him.

This Mother's Day, to every mother who feels weary - before you pour out again, come and be filled.Because the love your children receive from you first comes from Him.And when you remain in His presence, you won’t just keep going, you’ll overflow.
