What are you chasing in this life? For most of us, it all boils down to this one thing - love.
We want to be seen, known and accepted. We want to belong and be cared for by others. We want to be loved.
That desire to be loved draws us to make friends, find partners, and build families - all these things enrich our lives greatly, yet, the love of man is not a strong, steadfast foundation to build our lives upon.
Many conflicts and the deepest heartaches come at the ending of a love that made you feel whole - but all is not lost! God knows that we need a stable source of love - and He has offered us Himself.
“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him” 1 John 4:16
God is the embodiment of love. He created love and where love exists, God exists too.
Let’s stop chasing for love from human sources that do not satisfy, and immerse ourselves in the pure, perfect, unchanging and completely satisfying love of God. A love that runs deep and will never end.
