As children of God, we are called not just to survive, but to thrive - to live lives of prosperity.
But what does prospering look like in the kingdom of God? Is a prosperous life one of riches and success?
“Dear friend, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2
In 3 John 1:2, John’s prayer reveals the heart of God. True prosperity is not measured by wealth, success, or comfort, but by the flourishing of the soul - a heart anchored in Christ, a life shaped by His truth and peace.
A prosperous soul finds joy not in circumstance, but in communion with God. It draws strength from His promises and peace from His presence.
So, while the world strives for material success, God invites you and I to a deeper kind of prosperity - the prospering of our souls.
And that kind of prosperity is what brings true joy and true peace!
May the designs by @jarfulofplenty encourage us that true prosperity comes from the Lord!
