Way Truth Life | Short Sermon Series
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” John 14:6
On the road of life, there are many paths we can choose to take. Some choose to walk on the paths that lead to the most success and wealth, hustling hard each day, while others value a life that maximises happiness, indulging in expensive food and holidays.
The world may tell us that there is no right way to live, no right path to walk on – it’s up to us to chart our own life’s direction, up to us to decide what will give us the most happiness. Yet Jesus tells us quite a different story.
“I am the way, the truth and the life”, He proclaims. There is no other “right” path than the path that leads to Jesus. And what does this path entail? Micah 6:8 lays it out nicely for us - to act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with our God.
The path to Jesus may be narrow, but take heart, Jesus has promised to guide you on the path if you allow Him to do so. Take a moment and pause to reflect. Does the path you walk on lead to Jesus? If you have wandered away, pray and ask God to guide you back to Jesus the only way, truth and life.
