When was the last you marvelled at God’s creation? | Short Sermon Series
When was the last you marvelled at God’s creation? It could have been after a long hike or while you were walking amidst wildlife. Being far away from the man made architecture, we may finally be able to listen to the breath of God’s handiwork. With sights so surreal that we can’t help but proclaim the glory of God.
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Romans 1:20
However, as easily as we are overwhelmed with awe, we too easily lose this sense of marvel when we get caught up with our busy schedules, but one thing remains - God is still Creator of all.
We do not need to scale mountains or trek forests to appreciate God’s work. Take the time, even if it’s only 30 minutes each day, to regain your sense of awe and wonder — without distractions. Separate from your quiet time, this time is for us to simply sit and be still, admiring our Creator’s handiwork. Because we all desperately need to be reminded of the greatness of our God.
