It would do us well to remember that we are not our own - we did not form ourselves, we did not tell our cells to be assembled as they are, nor did we provide ourselves with the aptitude to do certain things.
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
Isaiah 64:8 NIV
We are all the works of our loving Heavenly Father. He formed each of us in His image, gave us good gifts, but also allowed us to have certain weaknesses.
Our trials and challenging circumstances are not a result of us being less than, or not good enough. It is not a result of us being less lucky or less blessed.
Deeply loved and cherished by our loving Father, we are the work of His hands and He never leaves nor forsakes us.
Through our lives on Earth, we remain as clay that the Potter moulds - slowly, day by day, He moulds us to become the wonderful work He desires for us to be.
So do not fret if your life seems unfinished, or like there are many missing pieces yet to be filled in - you’re still a work in progress, and the Potter has not left you.
Trust the process, and trust the hands and heart of the One who moulds you each day.
May the lovely designs by @saltpepperhumans encourage us that no prayers are left unheard by our God♥️
