He's the God of the small things as well - Encouraging short sermons and devotionals compiled by The Commandment Co

God is not just interested in the big things that affect us, but he cares about the small things that affect us too. There is nothing too insignificant! So wipe out the idea that God only wants to hear about out big issues and doesn’t want to bother with small issues.

Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread… Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.”- Encouraging short sermons and devotionals compiled by The Commandment Co

God cares about everything you go through, from your hungry stomach in the morning to your concerns about your future. Even the the inconvenience and panic which arises when you’re running late for work, He hears it too. He loves it when you tell Him anything and everything about your daily life, just like a father hearing about his child’s day!

He cared that they didn’t catch any fish to sell, so He gave them a huge catch early in the morning. He cared that they were cold and hungry, so He prepared breakfast for them and even kept it warm over a fire!
