“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

The first few verses of this Psalm beautifully depict the closeness of our loving Father. It reveals just how intimately God knows us, and how He is familiar with the voice of our heart.
Every heartbeat is known to Him. Every heartbreak is known to Him. Every time our heart leaps in joy - that is known to Him too.
He knows us inside and out, and there is nothing we can hide from Him - He sees the ugliest parts of us, and still calls us beloved sons and daughters.
How blessed are we, to have a loving Father who listens to our heart, cares for our souls, and understands us perhaps better than we understand ourselves.
Lean into His loving arms today, and know that He hears the beating of your heart.
