Our souls can feel very restless at times, especially when it feels like there are so many things that are unresolved in our lives. There are often no easy answers to the trials that life throws at us. No easy solution to the complicated problems we live with each day.
Taking on the weight of all of these struggles can really weigh our souls down.
Yet being a slave to fear is not how God intends for us to live.
“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 62:5-6
When the answers seem hard to come by, and all you can do is say, “I don’t know”, don’t fret the uncertainty. Bring your fears and worries to God. Tell Him all the things you can’t solve.
Cause you weren’t made to solve these things on your own. Your soul wasn’t made to be restless and scared. It was made to find rest and security in Him - knowing that for all the “I don’t know”s, God whispers back, “That’s okay, cause I know. And the plans I have for you are good”.
So trust His love, and find rest in Him alone today.
