In the moments when you feel the anxiety rising up within you, when your heart quickens and it feels harder to breathe - remember that God has not left you.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NIV
The Lord has promised to be with you in every and any circumstance. In the loneliest nights, He is with you. In your prodigal and rebellious seasons, He is still with you. Wherever you run to - He will be right by your side.
So when your mind races and all you feel is fear, take a pause, breathe deep, and take hold of the courage He gives. Clothe yourself with the most powerful identity you can put on - you are a beloved Child of God, and there is no power in all of Creation that will be able to separate you from His love.
