Do Something New | Short Sermon Series

As we stand at the threshold of June, let the words of Isaiah 43:19 illuminate our path with hope and inspiration. In this verse, God assures us of His ongoing work, bringing forth something remarkable and new.

While the past months may have presented challenges, disappointments, or uncertainties, God calls us to shift our focus from the rearview mirror of the past to the expansive road ahead. His plans for our lives are not distant or delayed; they are unfolding in the here and now.

God’s promise to make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland speaks directly to the barren areas of our lives.

Whether we confront personal struggles, uncertainties about the future, or spiritual dryness, God is the master of transformation. He excels in carving paths through seemingly impassable terrain and quenching the thirst of our weary souls.

As June unfolds, let us approach it with eager anticipation and unwavering faith. God’s renewal knows no bounds of time or circumstance. It is a divine intervention, a breakthrough that defies the natural order of things. May we recognize and embrace the new things God is bringing forth in our lives.

May this verse be a guiding beacon as we traverse the uncharted territory of the days ahead. Let us lean on the God who makes all things new and remain open to His leading. Embrace the promise of Isaiah 43:19 with hearts brimming with hope, knowing that God’s faithfulness extends into the future, ushering in blessings, restoration, and a fresh outpouring of His grace.

Gracious Father, as we step into the month of June, we thank You for the assurance that You are orchestrating new beginnings in our lives. Open our eyes to perceive and embrace the fresh work You are doing. Lead us through the wilderness and refresh our spirits with streams of Your grace. We trust in Your faithfulness and eagerly anticipate the unfolding of Your plans. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
