Why we can worship when things aren't great
Here’s why we can worship even when things aren’t great: we have an awesome God and we can trust His lovingkindness to prevail and we will triumph and overcome through Him.
Not Easily Offended
Too many times in life we get offended by others and statements we see. But we all have a choice - to stoop down to a lower level and let our tongue loose, or not. We learn to pick our fights because not every fight is worth fighting over, and some battles belong to the Lord. Being offended is a choice, and we can choose to grow and let God’s word define us today instead :)

Ageless (and Practical) Proverbs
Many of us ’get used’ to the hustle and bustle of life, where we decide now what to do in the future and live with the decisions we’ve made. But sometimes we wish we could get a clearer guide on how to live, so we’ll be sharing with you a few ageless (and practical) proverbs for daily life!
Jehovah Jireh
When most of us think of God’s provision, we think of God providing a new sound system, or something of a good deal. But there is so much more to God’s provision. When God introduces Himself as Jehovah Jireh (“the Lord will provide”), it isn’t about providing money or tangible assets. It’s about the most important thing in life - life itself.
God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Mount Moriah. But Isaac was supposed to be the miracle from God to Abraham and Sarah (when they were old and infertile), the son who God promised to make into a great nation. But even then, Abraham acted in faith, believing that God would still provide a miracle, and He did - a ram was provided just when Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac. So Abraham called the place ‘The Lord Will Provide’. God the provider, Jehovah Jireh, gave life and stayed faithful to His promise just as Abraham had faith in God’s provision.
Finding meaning at work
Work has always existed and it’s purpose goes beyond providing for our earthly needs.
God’s creation of the universe is described as work. Not only was it good, but God delighted in it as well. We learn that God partners humanity in nurturing the earth in the first chapters of Genesis, and when we connect with God in our work, we are on to way to finding meaning and satisfaction in our work.
To the working adult with no chill
If you’re inwardly screaming “that’s me!!”, then we’re going to see how you can have a chill life and have it altogether at the same time. Even if you have kids to run after or chores piling up, and you’re thinking there’s got to be a better way to live, you’re right.
And here’s how: REST
BUT rest in this context doesn’t mean laze about for an entire day (as tempting as it sounds), but refers to a posture of resting in the Lord while doing what you need to do. But still, how do we rest?
