Finding meaning at work
Work has always existed and it’s purpose goes beyond providing for our earthly needs.
God’s creation of the universe is described as work. Not only was it good, but God delighted in it as well. We learn that God partners humanity in nurturing the earth in the first chapters of Genesis, and when we connect with God in our work, we are on to way to finding meaning and satisfaction in our work.
To the working adult with no chill
If you’re inwardly screaming “that’s me!!”, then we’re going to see how you can have a chill life and have it altogether at the same time. Even if you have kids to run after or chores piling up, and you’re thinking there’s got to be a better way to live, you’re right.
And here’s how: REST
BUT rest in this context doesn’t mean laze about for an entire day (as tempting as it sounds), but refers to a posture of resting in the Lord while doing what you need to do. But still, how do we rest?
Finding Identity in Mental Illness
Mental brokenness is not your ultimate identity. Broken people can still powerfully minister to others, because the condition of our fallen bodies cannot expel the Holy Spirit from our bodies. No illness or disease can reverse God’s call on you, and no man’s judgement can invalidate God’s claim on you! Who ever said you have to be perfect for God to use you anyway? God often uses the cracks in one’s life to reveal His greatness! :)

All these feelings, crashing in and out of me since four days ago, when I lost my one and only brother, Brian Khoo Yew Jin. Some of you may already know what happened, some of you have only found out bits of it. Some I've wanted to tell since the start, but either I didn't have it in me to break the news or I've been drained out trying to be there for my parents whilst sorting out the final rites without violating CMCO SOPs.
